Our Pediatricians

Dr. Eric Amparan is a pediatrician and Glendale native who is excited to join Balboa Pediatrics. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois, where he developed a strong passion for outpatient pediatrics and building lasting relationships with children and their families. During residency, he was honored with the Outstanding Patient Advocate Award and the Pediatric Department Ambulatory Award in recognition of his commitment to compassionate patient care and excellence in outpatient pediatrics.

Dr. Eric believes that excellent pediatric care begins with building trust—with both children and their parents. He takes the time to listen, understand each family’s individual needs, and partner with parents to support their child’s health and development. His goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where children feel at ease and parents feel heard, respected, and supported.

Now back home in Los Angeles, Dr. Eric is honored to care for the next generation of children in the community he calls home. He looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and their families and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Balboa Pediatrics family.
